i fell off the wagon for 3 days. i was sick, having really bad headaches, nautious, dizzy, etc. and i was eating like crap for 3 days. as most of you know i have been stuck in this 160-164 range for months now, and im tired of it. 3 days will not shake me!!! i weighed in today at 163.8 (which is probably mostly water weight) but its up 1.8 lbs since last week.
ill take it, wont weigh myself again, and will begin this 13 day challenge where i WILL lose 3.9 lbs. i must get under 160. im cursed in the 160-164 range and only until i break it will i feel better.
so
13 days (i chose this because im going out of town on the 14th and wont be able to watch as closely)
13 days of 1400 calories or less. on workout days, ill allot 1500, and i must work out 5 out of the 13 (at least)
also, 100 sit ups 3x a week.
i WILL and CAN do this. anyone joining me? today is day 1.

HI there bs’ers!!!!! i wanna adress something.
I am so proud of everyone and everyones efforts to shed these lbs. these lbs and food weigh us down (literally and in life) and we are all here for a variation of reasons, for looks, for self esteem, for family, boyfriends/girlfriends, for a social life, social image etc.
I just want to say this: Use ANYTHING you need to to get through the day. find a buddy on here to email, text, talk on the phone with every day to hold yourself accountable to that day and that day only. these days add up, as everyone knows i have theories of what consistency does for your self esteem and for your weight loss journey. But i can not emphasize enough that the only thing that you have control over right now is right now, today. we are given 24 hours of opportunity at a time, and once we go to sleep, the day is imprinted on your past, and can either play as a contribution to your goal or an inhibitor.
i view it like this, as an equation. say it takes approximately 200 (good) days to achieve your goal (according to a 1 lb loss every seven days.)
so it would be like this
200=goal
200 (good days)=28 lbs lost
i know its not that simple, there are a lot of things that contribute to everything, but if you think about each day as a contribution to that pot of 200 days needed. its like saving money. each day you have the opportunity to save a day, and add it to the needed 200, or you have the opportunity to not add to the pot, and to actually add days needed to get to the goal (if you exceed calories by a LOT).
so im just trying to give a little perspective in that its not about thinking about the bigger picture in the sense of overwhelming yourself with how LONG its going to take. its more about looking on the positive side that no MATTER what you choose to do in the day, if you choose to deny how the day will effect your ultimate goal, that it will still contribute, or hurt, your ultimate equation.
so be positive!! use the day to your advantage and add days up to fill your jar of success!!! we all can do it! just focus on the positive way of seeing what each day really does for your ultimate goal.
in 20 days you might not lose a lb, but the more you add these days up, without falter, the more likely lbs will fall off later on. weight loss is not instant. one day if you dont eat, the next day you wont necessarily lose a lb. weight loss is a slow change, it takes the body time to burn the fat, to have the changes on the scale. so be patient, and THINk about the bigger picture of what this day can do for you in the long run!
